Life with Annie!

Hello Family & Friends! Welcome to our new blog titled "Laugh, Love, & Live". We've decided to create this blog to post updates and pictures rather than flood your email boxes with things you'll just have to delete. The title, if you were curious,is our family motto and less cheesier than "The Villavicencio's Voyages". Since our lives revolve around Annie at the moment, prepare to learn more about her than about us! With that, onto the updates!

For those of you who missed the birth information, Anastasia May Christenson Villavicencio (a.k.a., "Annie") was born on Wednesday, May 13, at 6:53 pm, at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento, California. She weighed 6 lbs. even and was 18 1/2 inches long.

Annie is now a little more than 3 weeks old. We've determined that she has her mother's mouth but has her daddy's eyes, hands, feet, and hair. We're still figuring out the nose. Surprisingly, she has dimples. We've determined that Cirian's maternal grandfather and Cheryl's maternal great aunt had dimples too!

Annie's a relatively calm baby who adores being held. She is very strong too and most likely received her strength from Cheryl's side of the family. She's growing healthy and strong everyday. At her two week doctor's appointment, she weighed in at 7 lbs and grew to 19 inches.

We are now staring to take her out in the stroller which she enjoys! She still hasn't learned to like the car seat though. She'll only sleep in two places - in someone's arms or in a baby swing purchased by Great Grandma and Grandpa Christenson.

In between catching naps, Cheryl and I have been keeping busy finishing writing a murder mystery dinner. In true geek fashion, it's based on the Star Trek Voyager television series. We're calling it "The Voyager Vendetta". We're trying it out on eight guinea pigs on June 27 and will let you know how it goes. Until next time, all our love!
